Pokemon Re:Universe is a GBA ROM Hack by Poken_Hunter based on Pokemon Fire Red in English. It was released on March 13, 2025, and is now available to download.

Story

The Kanto region has long been a haven for trainers and Pokémon alike—a land of peace and prosperity. But five years ago, that peace was shattered by Team Rocket, a ruthless crime syndicate that stole, experimented on, and even killed Pokémon to achieve its sinister goals.

Then, a legendary trainer rose to the challenge. With unmatched skill and determination, they crushed Team Rocket, forcing their leader, Giovanni, to disband the organization. Order was restored, and Kanto thrived once more.

But peace never lasts.

Team Rocket has returned, stronger and more dangerous than ever. With advanced technology, secret alliances, and a hidden agenda that could shake the foundation of the region, their influence is already spreading. Pokémon are vanishing. Shadowy figures lurk in the streets. Something terrible is coming.

And Kanto’s only hope… is you.

You are Red, the undefeated Champion—the trainer who once brought Team Rocket to its knees. After years of solitude, and training beyond the public eye, you must rise again. The region you love is in danger. The enemy is waiting.
