Description

Pokemon Phantom Order is a story-focused ROM hack of Pokemon Emerald that introduces a luck-based system which completely changes the flow of battle. Even the slowest Pokémon can sometimes move first, making every turn unpredictable.

The game features permanent Mega Evolutions as new final forms, a fully revamped roster of 255 Pokémon with updated stats and movesets, and replaces traditional gyms with a new challenge system called The Kroza. With new evolutionary lines, custom Mega Evolutions, and difficult Legendary encounters, this hack offers a fresh and demanding experience where strategy and luck go hand in hand.

just awful. I came in hopeful because it says new story, and I’m partial to story-driven hacks, yet the ad says nothing about the story at all and honestly I should’ve been suspicious from there on. It’s another one of those fake “new story” roms in which the “new story” is keeping the Hoenn storyline and adding or tweaking a few things to try and call it “new”. What’s worse is that the changes in it make the game worse, not better. The dialogues are also terrible, and often full of grammar mistakes. I know it’s just a beta, and that could be corrected, but dude the bare minimum is to have readable, convincing interactions with NPCs in ur pokemon hack. I’m not even gonna go into the shit selection of starters… anyway. Wouldn’t recommend.

That last image is “remastered” with AI, and it’s literally so blatantly obvious bro. It looks like absolute trash. It makes it look worse than before. Low resolution with all its pixelated imperfections is a million times better than Ai slop. DEATH TO Ai!!!
Glossing over it with an Ai paintbrush is an insult to the artists and all the creators as well. Trying to erase imperfections to make something look more perfect, thru a shortcut, has adverse effect, and creates more even worse imperfections. Get rid of that garbage.
Yall are supposed to be the GOATS. Stop with the Ai slop, you’re better than this.

  It looks like a smoothing filter you can get on vba and other emulators, it doesn’t look like AI at all.
  Some people do play with these filters on, believe it or not.
