Description
Ever wanted to play Pokémon Emerald but with Eevee as a starter option? Well, now you can! This is a super-simple, borderline-vanilla ROM hack that does one thing: you can choose Eevee as your starter. The other three starters are still choices, too, if you still want to use them for whatever reason.
I kinda just threw this together for my own enjoyment, but I figured I’d share it, too.
Features
- Mostly vanilla experience, with some minor changes here and there.
- Eevee as a fourth starter option.
- Implemented Eevee in various areas to make it feel like a natural part of Hoenn’s Local PokéDex.
- Changed every rival battle to account for every possible starter (See documentation).
- Fully decapitalized proper nouns.
- Running indoors is allowed.
- All version-exclusive Pokémon that were previously unavailable in Emerald can now be found in the wild (See documentation).
- All four starter Pokémon can now be found in the wild (See documentation)!
- Trade evolutions changed to leveled evolutions.
