This hack has been so fun so far, I’m about to beat the third dojo, and I can’t wait for the next update!
Looks incredible, can’t wait to check it out, and also can’t wait for the completed release.
Can you make a pokemon FireRed rom hack with the Simpsons and Powerpuff girls and teen titans?
make it yoself dipstick 🤬😤😒
Don’t need to be rude man.
I like the art. I do wonder why people don’t just make their own game. Like this seems like a lot of work. I wouldn’t think it’d be that much more to scrap the pokemon ip stuff and make it your own.
The battle engine is mainly the reason.
If it wasn’t for the pokemon name and brand attached to it, no one would play their games. That’s why. Look at all the “pokemon-inspired” monster and beast-taming chicken-fight types of games. And see how alive and well they all are or how many diehard fans there are. Then compare that number to Pokémon. Look at their merchandise sales, their revenue, events, collaborations, YouTube video content, dedicated channels and streamers who stream nothing but that or have it as their main bread and butter *without* Pokémon being involved at all. Pokémon wins every single contest. Flat out. And they just don’t work. Some people get burned out on Pokémon or start to hate things the Pokémon company / Nintendo do. So they try to find other alternative games that are Pokémon but without the Pokémon name. Then they end up disappointed overall and come right back, or after a certain amount of time playing, however long or short, they get tired of these grifter monster-tamer games biting chunks out of the Pokémon-loving market. And then they turn right back around to Pokémon all the same anyway. They’re capitalizing off of Pokémon’s success or they wouldn’t be doing it. And if lots of these players were so sick of Pokémon they’d try to find other games to play that aren’t similar in any way to Pokémon rather than monster-taming alternatives.
People truly underestimate how much influence Pokémon has on the genre. Monster Catching games have never been popular at all; they’ve been niche games from the beginning. Games like TemTem or Coromon only got popular because they literally used the Pokemon franchise for their marketing. Without stating they are like Pokémon, no one would give them a try. Fangames will always be popular as a substitute for Pokemon, but Pokemon-like games will never be sufficient of a substitute.
I agree, a game like palworld was only popular because people compared it to Pokemon and it got sued by big bad Nintendo
Please add cheat codes. The emerald cheat code are not working. In this game
Looks beautiful. But I gotta wait for 1.0
Admin I have a… query I suppose I would call it.
It seems like any word put into our posts that contains “a-s-s” in it, whether its at the start, the end or contained inside of it, causes the post to get automatically deleted. Which is a bummer, while I understand the reason for it. It seems more just like a not quite perfect method of censoring/automoderating. ESPECIALLY when considering the fact that there is a Pokémon typing that has that series of letters in it, as well as a number of Pokémon. The female evolution of Snorunt being one major example. I posted a comment and hadn’t said anything problematic, hateful, toxic nor negative, and didn’t explicitly curse or swear in any way intentionally, yet after hitting submit, it just disappeared. Luckily I save everything I write, for events like this. Especially when I write big messages and don’t want to see them lost. So I was able to check for unintentional uses of words that could flag anything. And I first changed the a’s accent on all of them to see if that would work. If it didn’t I was going to try a couple other ways then give up if still nothing. And it did work the first time so that confirms it for me.
My question is if you can fix this in any way, or make it so that the word itself with nothing else added to it can be moderated without things like “gráss” or “Froslàss” getting censored.
I fear the thought that many people have written comments, however short or lengthy on this site without any ill-intent at all, but their comments disappeared with no way to retrieve them, as I’m sure most people aren’t like me and saving everything they write. It’s something you gotta condition yourself to do after all. And can be quite tedious. Just like how going in and changing every word in my message was quite tedious lol.
And I do feel bad for those people whose messages were sent into the void. Perhaps messages like those can be reinstated if they were saved in any way in the system. IDK.
Thank you sir admin 🙂
As long as it isn’t just âss being used by people who abuse the system, maybe that would be the exception? I can see people looking at this and going “oh thats how I can swear now, without getting flagged” I guess that would be a bridge you cross when you get to it…
Well then. Ciao
I’m really sorry that happened. It’s an unfortunate side effect of the word filter. I’ll uncensor some of them soon so this kind of thing doesn’t happen as often.
That said, I do need to apologize because I read the comment you’re referring to, and it’s way too long. I’ve recently started removing extremely long comments since they can be inconvenient for people scrolling through the site. Anything up to around 1000 words is fine, but beyond that it can get a bit excessive for readers.
I know it’s frustrating considering the effort you out into writing out the comment but I hope you can understand, I really appreciate you taking the time to explain everything so thoroughly, and I’ll make sure to tweak the filters so they’re a bit less strict going forward. Thanks for your comment.
I’m thinking of adding a “Read More” button for longer comments so people can still share detailed thoughts. But until I actually set that up, I’ll have to keep the current comment length limit in place.
Waiting for 1.0 release…
when will u release the completed version
